A death investigation is underway in Pemiscot County after human remains were found in a tree line right outside of Caruthersville on County Road 363. According to the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Office, investigators are trying to determine if the remains might be those of Jerry Lynn Carr, 34, who was reported missing in August 2014.
